She was famous for her homemade tortillas and traditional Mexican dishes such as menudo, tamales, posole, chille rellenos, huevos rancheros, frijoles, mole, and salsa.


Her home was always open to family and friends, and she enjoyed cooking for her guest. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Gabina had a warm smile and a bright and witty personality that touched everyone she met. Simplot in 1970 and retired from the company after 19 years. The family moved to Texas in 1945 and settled in Idaho in the late 1960s.

She married Guadalupe Reynoso in 1943 and they were blessed with 8 children: 6 boys and 2 girls. Gabina grew up in a large, close-knit family she had 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Gabina Reynoso passed away at her home peacefully in her sleep on September 16, 2021, at the age of 97.īorn in San Miguel el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, on October 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Rito and Maria Jimenez.
